Our Team Is Growing

This month we welcome Poppy Backshall to the team as our Community Engagement & Education Officer. Poppy will be leading our education sessions, river clean ups, citizen science and much more. 

With a background in the wellness industry, Poppy has a wide range of experience in leading community-based projects that focus on strengthening the human-nature connection. Her passion for the local environment comes from a lifelong love of the outdoors, as a keen climber surfer and trail runner, Poppy has first-hand experience of the importance of protecting our wild spaces and improving accessibility for the wider public.
