Connecting communities through art

Last week the lovely pupils of Ysgol Tregarth began creating the first section of our collaborative moving art piece. The pupils created a beautiful river inspired piece using natural materials from the Afon Cegin, paint and passion for their local river!

The aim of the project is that each school along the river will create their own section which will connect to another community. Acting as a metaphor for connecting communities both to each other and their local river.

The pupils wrote down one wish for their local river. These wishes ranged from clean water for happy fish to tree houses and floating football pitches! We hope to make at least one come true!
