Tree Planting Week

A week of environmental action to improve biodiversity and keep rivers cool

The Tree Planting Week began with planting up riparian buffer zones and connecting corridors along the Afon Bach. At the beginning of the year we fenced along the river to prevent cattle from entering the watercourse.

The tree planting effort encompassed a wide variety of tree species, each carefully selected for its compatibility with the local environment. Native trees like oaks, and willow were favored to ensure long-term ecological benefits, such as habitat restoration and increased biodiversity.

Community Effort

We had a great turn out with community groups and individuals joining us to create a healthy riparian corridor.
