Showcasing Mynydd i'r Menai at the Rivers Trust Conference

Our CEO recently spoke at the Rivers Trust CEO & Chairs Conference in Newcastle, where leaders from across the UK came together to explore the future of river restoration and catchment management.

Our presentation showcased the Mynydd i'r Môr Bioregion—an ambitious, place-based initiative bringing together communities, businesses, landowners and partners across Ynys Môn and Gwynedd to restore nature from source to sea.

By taking a whole-landscape approach, the project is creating a new model for Wales. One that connects rivers, coasts and communities while attracting investment in biodiversity, water quality and climate resilience.

The conference provided an excellent opportunity to share our vision, exchange ideas with Rivers Trusts from across the UK and demonstrate how collaborative, landscape-scale working can deliver lasting benefits for both people and nature.

We're proud to be helping shape a future where one catchment, one strait and one shared vision can inspire environmental restoration far beyond North Wales.
