Menai Strait Partnership Forum Update

It's been a busy month for the Menai Strait Partnership as we start gaining momentum for 2026.

We've been out on the Menai Strait making connections and meeting partners. It has been great to see all the different aspects of life along the Menai. 

What is the Menai Strait Partnership?

The Menai Strait Partnership Forum is a collaborative network supporting the sustainable management of the Menai Strait through shared evidence, partnership working, and community engagement.

Being involved in the Menai Strait Partnership Forum helps demonstrate responsibility to protecting a shared natural asset we all rely on. The Forum provides a neutral, collaborative space to communicate with other stakeholders, engage local communities, share evidence and promote discussion to help understand environmental pressures and risks sooner.

The forum aims to meet quarterly and will develop a rolling action plan focused on supporting practical delivery, nature-based solutions, sustainable land management practices and community engagement initiatives. A stakeholder mapping exercise is also underway to ensure all relevant interests are represented.
