Jack’s first week as an Intern

This first week in my internship has been really interesting working on both the community and river restoration sides of the Trusts work. With the community engagement team I visited local community groups which was really nice to see all of the great work these groups do to support their communities.

I also worked on a range of projects out in the field, doing site assessments for the living sea walls project and site visits for the floating wetlands.

Ending the week with the source to sea community day which was an exciting day learning about local catchments topped off with a boat ride through the Menai. My first week has been full of learning and I am looking forward to seeing all NWRT projects progress week on week.
