The Welsh Dee Trust

Sharing good practice between Trusts

The Welsh Dee Trusts CEO Peter Powell very kindly invited Operations Manger Laura to visit their Llangollen offices to learn about the great work happening on the Dee.

Project officer Antony also learnt and shared good working practices with the Dee Trusts Programme Manager, Chris Meredith and Laura virtually. Both invaluable sources of knowledge to help the North Wales Rivers Trust plan ahead. .

Operations manager Laura says, ‘We received a very warm welcome from the Dee Trust team who have shared their invaluable knowledge on not only how they plan their strategic vision but also with boots on the ground delivery. Its opportunities to work across catchments and learn from others that really help to stregthen our impact on the ground’.

Many thanks to the Welsh Dee Trust for hosting the NWRT team.
