Save the Torgoch march in Llanberis

Let’s make a stand together for cleaner waters!

On Wednesday July 3rd at 10AM we will be conducting a march around Llanberis to raise awareness for the Eryri Torgoch and the importance of #voteforivers in the upcoming general election. The march will be led by pupils from Ysgol Dolbadarn and the local community.

The time to act is NOW. The Eryri Torgoch, are a unique and endangered species, and they are symbolic of the delicate balance of our local ecosystem. Raising awareness about its plight highlights the urgent need for conservation efforts to protect our welsh heritage.

Cleaner waters are essential for both environmental and public health. Polluted rivers harm wildlife and pose significant risks to human populations who rely on these water sources for drinking, recreation, and agriculture. By making a stand, we advocate for policies and actions that prioritise the cleanliness and sustainability of our rivers.

This march is also an opportunity to bring our community together and demonstrate our collective commitment to positive change.

Come along, bring your sign, and let's make a stand together for cleaner waters!
