Prosiect Torgoch – Celebrating Arctic Charr Through Craft

We’ve been busy running creative community workshops as part of Prosiect Torgoch, helping people discover more about the rare Arctic charr (Torgoch) that call North Wales home.

Our latest session was held in Bangor with the North West Africa Society, where families enjoyed getting hands-on with Torgoch-themed crafts. It was fantastic to see people of all ages learning about this special fish while sharing stories, creativity, and lots of colour.

These workshops are part of our wider project to connect communities with the unique heritage of the Torgoch, supported by Heritage Lottery UK.

Keep an eye out for more opportunities to join us and celebrate the wildlife and history of our local lakes!
