Mini ‘river guardians’ summer programme

This summer we have partnered up with We swim Wilds ‘Pobl Dwr’ programme and our own mini river guardian programme to deliver a series of pop up events on our rivers. Today we spent the day on the Dyfi river with a group of children learning about invertebrates and the common minnow.

The We Swim Wild team of lifeguards taught the children how to snorkel safely whilst we helped them discover whats in their local river. All with the help of the common jam jar as a river survey tool.

During August we will be delivering snorkel sessions on the endangered Eel on the Dwyryd estuary as well as further pop ups on the river Dyfi. Take a look over at Dyfi Adventure campsite to see details or keep checking back on our Events page for further details. Limited places and you must sign up beforehand.
