Local school onboard with Fresh Water Pearl Mussel project

Last week we visited Ysgol Bro Hedd Wyn in Trawsfynydd to speak to the pupils about Fresh Water Pearl Mussels. The pupils learnt about North Wales Rivers Trust and the work that is taking place to improve the habitat for Fresh Water Pearl Mussels and other species in their local area.

Next the pupils will be attending a site visit to see for themselves the work being carried out. They will also be working with a local artist to create their own story book.
