Bangor University ‘Meet the Professional’ session.

We are delighted to be forging stronger links with academia this year. Today NWRT Laura and Oisin presented to students at Bangor University, to not only talk about the work we do here at North Wales Rivers Trust but to also offer work experience and volunteer opportunities to students from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Offering skills and training for people who are trying to break into careers in the environmental sector is an important part of NWRT strategic aims to inspire the next wave of river conservationists. We especially hope to offer opportunities to those students who have faced challenges or barriers to education or who have not been previously represented in the environmental sector.
