Trust Hands Over Responsibility for Ongoing Stream Maintenance Project

Dec 4, 2013

Following the Trust’s extensive habitat improvement work carried out over approximately a two mile stretch of the Dwr Ial, a small tributary of the River Clwyd, which included fencing, gated cattle crossings and some tree removal, the Campaign for the Protection of Welsh Fisheries has agreed to carry out future maintenance of the project. This will ensure the stream remains open to natural light that will enable in-river invertebrate life to become re-established in the water to provide food for young and developing fish.

Further information can be found in the Completed Projects section of this website.
