Annual AGM

Still struggling to take a full team photograph at the annual AGM.

We held our annual general meeting on June 9th. The trustees, staff and other stakeholders met to discuss our accomplishments over the last year ( check out the projects page) and our upcoming projects.

Our long standing project officer Rich White stepped down (and across) into a trustee role. This mean he will still be sharing his vast knowledge with the team and guiding us in the right direction in a new role as a trustee.

The trustees presented long standing project officer Rich White with the fisherman’s equivalent of a Rolex.

Alan Winstone, chairman for the last 7 years stepped down after leading the North Wales Rivers Trust to be a success over the last few years, restoring many rivers within our catchment and securing funding. He will continue to be a valued member of the trustee team. The trustees unanimously voted in long standing trustee, Dr Robin Parry as the new Chairman going forward.

We welcomed various stakeholders to the meeting who are invaluable partners of the Rivers Trust in North Wales. If your organisation is passionate about restoring North Wales Rivers and would like to attend our next AGM meeting in 2023, then please do get in touch.
